A Memorable Venue
Use of Glasgow’s Trades Hall dates back to the Middle Ages as a meeting place for the thriving Trades and Merchant Guilds.
Construction of the Trades Hall, to a design by Scotland’s most influential architect, Robert Adam commenced on 9th September, 1791.
Today, this magnificent and historic building retains a quiet majesty, providing a unique venue for functions ranging from conferences, formal dinners and less formal functions to business meetings and family events such as weddings. Whatever you are planning, whether a meeting, conference, exhibition, tour or a dinner, The Trades Hall offers you first class facilities in a unique setting.
Through this wide and contemporary role, the Trades Hall continues to make a very significant contribution at the heart of business and commerce in the city of Glasgow.
