Virtually Reliving Trades Hall Weddings

The Trades Hall of Glasgow has been ‘virtually’ reliving some of its past wedding ceremonies courtesy of one of our clients' favourites; George McLean,

Humanist Wedding Celebrant from Fuze Ceremonies.

George has put good use to his time whilst under the current lockdown restrictions by recreating and reading LIVE, on his humanist celebrant Facebook and Instagram pages, some of his Trades Hall couples wedding ceremonies.

George said; “We've had a great response: some of my past Trades Hall couples have been getting so involved in my Repeat Renditions broadcasts and made a real event of things at home whilst watching the LIVE streams. Their family and friends also joined in and left so many lovely messages on my social media pages for the happy couple, second time around. To top things off the featured Mr & Mrs took a ‘selfie’ of them watching me LIVE on the screen."

George has uploaded the 'Repeat Renditions' of the weddings onto YouTube, so that the event can be watched and enjoyed again and again.

Featured couples so far are (simply click on their names to see the YouTube videos):

Amy and Fraser Cassells from the 27thOctober 2018

Frances and Donald from 9thSeptember 2019

George added; “The memories for the couples of the beautiful architecture and setting of the stunning Trades Hall will never leave them, so reliving their ceremony again is truly special. It also served as a reminder of how personal, bespoke and unique a humanist wedding ceremony is. I always work closely with my couples to help them create something magical and special. After all every couple is one of a kind so every ceremony should be exactly that also.”
